Who we are
The better question to ask is, who am I? Wing Lok Design is a one man operation run by twenty something Fabian Brimfield, an Australian resident living between his home town of Hobart, Tasmania, and Hong Kong. Fabian has been interested and passionate about graphics & design from a very early age. In high school and college, Fabian supported himself by designing T-Shirts for sports teams, and by creating posters and marketing material for local youth bands and rock events.
This passion for design and creation still exists in Fabian’s work as the IT Officer for the Tasmanian University Law Society, where Fabian has designed posters advertising events, talks, balls, and parties. Fabian has also designed for the Tasmanian University Union.
Fabian studies a triple degree across various educational institutions. He has studied and completed a Bachelor of Information Systems (with an IS Analysis major) at the University of Tasmania with top class marks. This degree has given Fabian the knowledge he needs to develop an intimate understanding of companies and organisations Information Technology needs as a whole, not just focusing on design and communications. Fabian also served as the project leader on the top performing project team of the School of Computing’s ICT Project for 2011.
Fabian studies a Bachelor of Laws cross institutionally with the University of Tasmania, and the City University of Hong Kong. As well as this, Fabian is undertaking a post-graduate diploma in Aviation Management with Griffith University in 2012.

Examples of our work
CMS Used: Joomla Solutions: The Karana Flames Netball Team approached us needing a brand new website after they had lost control of their old one. They wanted a more modern website that would be easy for them to manage themselves without the need of a costly web designer to update the website every week when they had new photos or news to put up on the website. They wanted to reach team-members as well as fans of the club, and their website needed to be updated frequently with new forms, documents and club rosters. Our solution was to create a fully integrated Joomla system on new servers for them, including a highly customised blue and black font, logo integration, gallery implementation and a calendar system. Their package included full training with the implementation, so that they’re able to administer and modify the website whenever they want!
CMS Used: WordPress
Solutions: Savoy Day Spa approached Winglok with a need to have a fully fledged website designed and live within two weeks! The spa was set to reopen within that time, and they wanted to have a website up and running as soon as they opened their doors. They are a business with products that from time to time change, both in what they offer and the prices of treatments. The logical solution was to set up a system in which they were given a website that was dynamic, and easy to administer into the future without the need for specialist (read: expensive!) help. We were able to create a great looking wordpress solution within two weeks, including all page and content creation, menu and logo integration, as well as acquisition of new hosting services, DNS registration, and setting up a great internal email system. We’re very proud of this one!
